It depends with the course that you take, there are a couple of courses (Bachelor of Science) offered by various universities which include:
1. Actuarial Science, –
You could work as an actuary in insurance regulatory organization or in a bank as an risk assessor. Companies like Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA), Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA),Alexander Forbes and Synovate are the major employers of Actuaries.
2. Mathematics and computing –
You could work as a mathematical modeler in any research institution e.g Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI).
3. Statistics –
You could work as a statistician in any research institution e.g Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), Kenya National Burea of Statistics (KNBS) or KRA
